1. Information We Collect

When you use WhatPrompt, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the OAuth provider.
  • Usage data: We store decode results (prompts, tool identifications, confidence scores) associated with your account so you can access your history.
  • Media URLs: When you decode an image or video, we temporarily process the media URL to perform analysis. We do not permanently store the media files.
  • Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and feature usage to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the WhatPrompt service
  • To save your decode history for your convenience
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To send important service updates (no marketing emails)
  • To improve our AI analysis accuracy and product features

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • AI providers: Media is sent to our AI analysis provider (Google Gemini via OpenRouter) for prompt estimation. No personal data is included.
  • Stripe: Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
  • Supabase: Account and history data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

Your decode history is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual history entries at any time. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Chrome Extension

The WhatPrompt Chrome extension only activates on supported social media platforms. It does not track your browsing activity, read page content beyond media elements, or collect any data when you are not actively using it.

6. Your Rights

You can request to export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your decode history directly from the app.
